The W3024 Infratech Patio Heater incorporates a specially designed electric quartz heating element that provides safe infrared radiant heat. The radiant heat is only absorbed by solid objects and is not wasted heating the air. In addition all Infratech heaters emit no harmful ultraviolet rays.
